Hello fellow book lovers! It’s that time of month again, the best time of the month – the New Releases Giveaway Hop! Hosted by the lovely Shannon at It Starts At Midnight, you can find the full list of participants here, or head down to the end of this blog post for more links!

How is it June already?! I honestly don’t know where time has gone. Halfway through the year, halfway through our TBRs – wait, that’s a big lie. We’ll never be done with our TBRs – not with the amazing books coming out this month! I swear every time it gets to June we need to freeze frame the month just so we can catch up on all the books released at the start of the year. There’s soooo many books this month, IDK how I’m going to deal. Especially because I’m on a (dare I say it!) book buying ban!

Anyway! Let’s get down to business!

So let’s without further ado head on to the best part of this post – the giveaway! Normal rules apply, but for those who are new (or don’t remember), here is the gist of it:

ONE (1) winner will win ONE (1) June 2017 New Release to the value of AUD$30. And as long as The Book Depository ships to you, anyone can enter! Not sure if that’s you? Check here. The winners will have 48 hours from me contacting them to say hello, or another winner/s will be chosen. Side note: I am more than happy if the winner wants to choose two books up to the value of AUD$30, but both books MUST be released in June, or else it does not count.

I am always a little behind. I manage to make it to around 45 books in a year, and I know that doesn’t seem like a lot but it is for me working full time and having two kids.

“We are halfway through the year! Are you on top of your reading goals? Behind? Given up? Racing through the books? Let me know!” I don’t set reading goals. That would be so much pressure!

  3. I feel like I am behind, but I am not doing too badly. I work all of the time, and have a family, so it isn’t as easy as it used to be to pack in as many books as possible in a year. But I read as much as I can, and that is what I have to be okay with!

I’m definitely behind my reading goals because I’ve been so busy with school! I might just lower down my goal a bit haha

I am always behind on my TBR list, because I am always adding new books to it. I find new authors and enter a new giveaway and find books that I must read!!!!

I’m a little behind on my reading goal. But only by two books! 🙂
Thanks for the awesome giveaway! xo

I don’t particularly have any reading goals for the year. I keep an ongoing list of books I want to read and choose from that when I am ready for a new book. There are so many good books out there that it’s difficult to keep up with them all.

I am really behind on my reading goals this year. I was hoping to read 20 books this year but so far I have read three books. One I am currently reading is a new book, the other two were books that I already read but reread since it been a long time. I am still hoping to reach and exceed my goal by the end of this year! 🙂

I used to be able to read at least 100 books but I’ve been in a book slump since last year. This year my goal is 50, I’ve read about half of that so I guess I’m doing okay so far, :):)

I don’t set myself reading challenges or goals as such as I normally read about 100/120 books a year anyway!

  12. Sue McCarthy

I don’t get much time to read but my mum reads a lot, would love to be able to win a book for her

  13. I am behind by a couple of books thanks to a slump back in April but I’m trying to catch up! I even started listening to audiobooks to get more books into my daily schedule. 🙂

I am so far behind on my reading goal for this year. I want to read 50 books, but I am about 7 or 8 books behind schedule. I read on my lunch hour at work, but I have been taking off one to two days a month for various reasons, plus I have been reading longer books than usual (400+ pages) which has set me behind. My vacation is going to be late this year (November) but it is a cruise with 3 sea days, so hopefully I can spend a lot of time reading then.

I just try to read as much as I can. I don’t set a goal for the year. I have really enjoyed the books that I have finished so far.

I always have so many books i want to read, but I’m doing very well on my reading pile this year so far. I’ve even participated in a blog tour for a book for the first time and am currently working on my debut author challenge and loving the books so far.

So far – falling behind. I started a new job in February and it’s taking a lot of my time, I barely get any free time to read.
