It’s Spring!

Well, it is here in Australia. Sorry, Northern Hemisphere, but you guys get Autumn (and winter!), which is probably just as awesome because it means it’s getting cold. Here? It’s getting hot. Ugh. I’m swamped with uni work at the moment, so my posting efforts are a bit lax, but I’m slowly making a dent in my physical review books, and I’ve almost cleared off my Netgalley read list. What?!? I know right. That’ll be the day when I stop requesting Netgalley books (I daren’t even look at my TBR from Edelweiss. Curse pre-approval!).

(this is the cutest gif ever omg they’re books dancing send help)

One of the great things about this time of year is that it seems like all the amazing books are having release day parties. Which, let’s be honest, is detrimental for us readers because we just want all the books and not just for pretty Instagram aesthetics (I digress, that’s one of the reasons why). And let me tell you, there are some amazing books coming out in the next couple of weeks (or have just been released) which makes me so glad it’s almost my birthday and I can justify a book buying binge.

  1. Oh, I’ve discovered THIS IS OUR STORY just a few days ago and it went straight onto my wishlist. The blurb sounds really interesting and I LOVE the cover! 😀

  2. Oh, you have so many books that I want to read on here! I’m planning to read A Shadow Bright and Burning soon…hopefully. 😉 I’m also really interested in Three Dark Crowns and This is Our Story.

I’m also jealous of your Spring. I wish we could have Fall and then go straight to Spring. 🙂 Spring is my favorite.
    My Top Ten

  3. A Shadow Bright and Burning, Three Dark Crows, and Heartless are three of my most anticipated books as well so I’m crossing my fingers they live up to both of our expectations. 🙂 Thanks for sharing and, as always, fabulous choices! <3

  4. Oooh, I want to read almost all of these, actually. I read Stalking Jack the Ripper and LOVED it! It’s basically everything I have ever wanted in a book. Rose and Thorn sounds really interesting though, and I’ve never read a Sleeping Beauty retelling either. It’s my favorite fairy tale/Disney movie, but I still haven’t read a retelling. Crazy, right? I hope you have a chance to get to all these though! 🙂
