Reading Challenge: #TheReadingQuest!

Guys, I have the best reading challenge ever created to talk to you about!!

The amazing Aentee from Read at Midnight and the wonderfully talented CW from Read, Think, Ponder have created and designed a reading challenge based on a video game style quest, and it is the most amazing thing you will ever see!

Held between August 13th 2017 and September 10th 2017, the reading challenge comprises of four characters who each have their own path, or “quest.” Once a character is chosen, you must follow the tiles of their path to complete the challenge – and the best news is, you can do as many characters as you want! There are also side tiles for extra challenges and points. For a full explanation of the rules, levels, and characters, check out the sign up post here.

My TBR to review pile is completely out of control right now, so I’m going to use this challenge as a way to fly through my list. I’ve decided I’m going to attempt all the characters (ambitious, I know), but I’ll start with the Knight, mainly because I’m in love with CW’s caricature!

KNIGHT: These players are warriors skilled in direct combat. On their quest, they are will fight their way through the First Across path. The stages within this path are inspired by action and weaponry.”

My TBR for the Knight’s quest will be as follows. As I complete a character, I’ll update my TBR as I go along, so keep an eye out on Twitter and Bookstagram for sneak peeks!

The First Book Of A Series / The Waking Land by Callie Bates

A Book With A Verb In The Title / How It Feels to Fly by Kathryn Holmes

A Book With A Weapon On Its Cover /Sword and Verse by Kathy MacMillan

A Book With A Red Cover / Beyond The Red by Ava Jae

A Book That Has A TV or Movie Adaption / Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly

(Mini Quest) Time Warp: A Book Set In Either The Past Or The Future / The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice & Virtue by Mackenzie Lee

Are you participating in the challenge? Let me know, as I’d love to connect with people who are!!! Especially if you’re doing the Buddy Read square, it would be great to connect with other readers!
